Agreed- tarps look worse than empty seats.

The Army game was the most packed I ever saw that stadium - every seat taken. I give a good amount of money and somehow had a ticket on the top level of the east side. That was a fun day. I'm rich, b$$$$$

It's a realist attitude. Nothing in our history has indicated that we can draw 30K on our own, even in our glory years...we can't Fill Ford without significant visitor help. #realtalk

I still haven't heard anything that us out-of-towners could do to help. Aside from Mustang Club membership and occasional trips to Dallas or bowl locations, I'd like to do something to help attendance.

Then at least make it so the TV cameras look out to the West-side. Showing 200 students, our band and 500 visiting fans looks like dog [gary patterson]...or is that "loser attitude" too?

I have advocated this for some time. They say that the Mustang on the field would be upside down. I do not care. From a personal viewpoint, when the camera on the raised, moving stand is situated on the 50, I cannot see the field from my seats. They did put about a 15" screen tv on it which is too small for the fans to see. Move the cameras to the east side so we can at least see the west stands during the game.

Couldn't we just re-paint the Mustang? Swapped out the logos for our conference on the field. Didn't seem like that much of a burden.

They told me it has to be like it is due to it coordinating with the view from the pressbox

You've become camera happy since the Memphis game.... you're not fooling anyone.... you're just trying to get more air time on the television. ;)

The way the games are shot on TV, I feel like having the camera where it is now isn't that bad. It just looks down on the field but you don't see that much of the stands. Credit to ESPN, I think they do a decent job of hiding our meager crowds (to the extent that they can)

Remember that shooting camera shots from the east side has consequence when the sun is shinning. Not great shots into the sun.

the NY teams had banner day. people and kids would make banners. parade around the inside of the stadium. during the game the TV camera would pick out cleaver banners. the people holding the banners would jump all around because they were selected to be on TV and the stadium screen (whatever that thing is called) would tell their friends and family to watch TV or to join them.

frat and sororities houses, high school kids, various groups in Dallas, bunch of good old boys out without the wives. lots of groups making cleaver statements.

a winner would be selected

ponyfans can make a banner.
banner holders have to sit at a designated section that is always empty.

just saying, this is better that a tarp or no tarp
