I remember my dad telling me their student section used to chant that. And probably still does

I don't knew why you're picking a fight with me ECM, but if you're tired of me being negative about June based on pure facts, imagine how tired I am of blind optimism based off of pure BS.

I used to think June was great. I was even glad he didn't end up going to ASU at the time, but in the aftermath, that's when it all changed for me. But whatever man. If you see a bowl game as something to be happy about, good for you.

Side note, you say I'm a "look at me" kind of guy? I'm not the one starting threads titled "ECMs post happy hour strategy bla bla bla..."

Since people are talking June Jones, we could probably get ECU's OC Lincoln Riley for fairly cheap as June replacement, like a poor mans Kingsbury

They played here in Little Rock in the first round of the NCAA BB tourney a few years back. That was the school chant.

Dude, you're never optimistic about anything. A bowl is not enough and then if we say College Football Playoff or BcS its delusion. What is it you want SMU to be?!

USF is losing to "Western Carolina?" That has to be the worst beat since our basketball team lost to South Carolina Upstate.

How many CFB fans know what state that school is in?

It is in West Carolina. It is one of those extra states in Obama's 57 states.

Another FCS victory over FBS. FIU loses to a hyphenated school name Bethune-Cookman. They are looking even dumber for firing Cristobal two years ago.

I think all ECM is pointing out is that we aren't in a "crap" conference. We aren't P5, but CUSA, Sun Belt, WMC, MAC are all worse. So we aren't P5, but the conference isn't crap. Penn State will be middle of the pack in the Big 10, and UCF went toe-to-toe with them. Temple had a nice game. Houston was absolutely shocking, but they make a pretty good habit of playing awful in the first game and fixing things after that. Although the offensive line was just horrible. Cincy will be good, ECU decent. Bottom half won't suck as bad as last year, but still isn't great.

There is a reason why Rice and ECU did so well last year after the rest of us left. Those other conferences are a lot worse than us.
