Just think of the money we'd save on Manila folders and pencils if he were gone today.

Probably not financially feasible to hire a new head coach now, but it will cost next to nothing to elevate a current Assistant to interim. We all know this season is not salvageable anyway, so we have nothing to loose. Can take our time to find the right head coach.

Call Ron Washington. At least he would try.

There are reasons not to fire him, like media backlash (well that's all I can think of), but the reasons to fire him vastly outweigh not firing him.

Ok I get it, we are all pizzed off and very disappointed, but if we really did fire every
member of the current coaching staff tonight who would coach the team and who would be all the different position coaches for the rest of the year with ten games remaining? In my mind it would be stupid to fire the entire staff two games into the season with really only crazy options to finish out the last ten games. Acting irrational might even scare off people like Chad Morris. If we fire June now that's understandable, but the entire staff?...no way!

I feel sorry for SMU students and alums who made the trip to Denton.

He absolutely would. He would consult industry leaders to determine the best possible assistants, hire apropriately, and let magic happen.
Bet ya Ford Stadium would be full.

The Media may be waking up. For the first time in recent memory ther were two articles in the DMN critical of the coaching including one on their bad recruiting. Most will not have a problem after today.

That was just EJ Holland, the rest of the media is still under June's spell. Wouldn't be surprised if we get a rash of stories blaming the admin for June's failures. I suppose Rick Gosselin will get the first crack at it.

Keep Mason the interim and whoever he wants to keep on staff. He came out publicly last year when he was a Nevada candidate and basically criticized June's offensive scheme.

Force the kick returner (anybody but Deion Jr) to take a knee every kickoff so we at least start at the 25 instead of inside the 15.

Fire June and any of his buddies, supporters of his scheme. Phillips and Broussard absolutely have to go as well as the special teams coach. Phillips loves this garbage offense and all of his little 5'9" receivers. June and Phillips have created the cancerous culture that is finally about to completely engulf this team.

Fire them all. Couldn't care less about any individual member of the staff at this point. This thing is a disaster

I never wanted JJ hired. So, yeah, fire him and all those other dudes that belong on the dead peters bench.
