Top notch? No. Good enough? Probably.

You may have a different definition of IPF than I do, but there is an indoor facility (looks like a bubble) right next to Jones where they hold football drills among other activities. Sounds like an IPF to me. It's been there at least 15 years.

Unless they changed it, that bubble has tennis and basketball courts inside and has been there since at least 1988

Wow, are you kidding? I did not know that TTech does not have an IPF. I read posts on this board that say every high school in the state of Texas has an IPF and that SMU is completely adrift for not having one. I see a IPF as a luxury. Yes, it would be great to have one but is certainly not the be all end all. In fact, I would say we would have about the same caliber of players we have now even with the luxury of having a IPF. It all boils down to recruiting and winning. Blaming anything on the lack of an IPF is just a convenient excuse. If we had a IFP, then there would be just another excuse.

IPF is a huge building with a football field inside as well as locker rooms, weight rooms, wellness centers, recovery etc.
A bubble like what TT and some other schools have is just a covered field, like if we covered Pettus with a bubble.

My point too. I've really tried to pay attention, but has anyone fully addressed this question here on Ponyfans? We DO know it ain't student athlete admissions -- Stallion proved that umpteen times over. Some signs pointed to "upper leadership," but if so what does that mean?

Please PM me if this is not a matter for public discussion.
