Like any divorce, best to take the high road and move on. Those in the business know of June's shortcomings as do his players. Doesn't mean he is not a nice, likeable guy. Funny though how the media still refers to him as an offensive mastermind, as late as the pre-game of the NT game when that is so far from the truth. This is big-time football, D-1, which means there are high expectations and a certain standard of conduct and work ethic expected. That is why the salaries are commensurate. Do the job and you are rewarded, don't do the job and an exit is waiting.

Possibly because of his past actions with the media on things like contract negotiations etc.

If SMU wasn't treating him right -- IF -- how would you have expected him to act? Would that excuse any of his actions?

nope

Being a lazy bum who cant get up off his [deleted] to recruit at local high schools is inexcusable regardless of if he was pissed at SMU brass. The dude was getting $2 million a year and he couldn't be bothered to visit a school like Cedar Hill so whatever complaints he had were bunk as he clearly wasn't coming anywhere close to maximum effort.

You're a little late to the party.
