How likely are schools to deny an assistant the opportunity to interview for a head coaching gig? I can see head coach to head coach, but assistant coach to head coach?

This early in the season they would deny access. UConn had to wait until the season was over to talk to Notre Dame DC Bob Diaco before they hired him.

Not coincidentally this letter came after a quarterly BOTs meeting. Everyone is on board with making the $ commitment to win and spend at the P5 level
