I know the difference in the uniform sets are negligible, but they are different. Helmet Striping and Pant Striping are different, as well as the typeface for SMU (June Era is Times New Roman, the Pony Express era was closer to this http://www.dafont.com/sf-collegiate.font), and the striping pattern on the sleeve (Pony Express era had numbers). I get the point that the June Era uniforms are a derivative of the Pony Express era uniforms, but I feel they are different enough to be separated.

As far as the June Jones Era goes those big ugly shoulder stripes on the jersey's did not look good imo. Glad they took them off this season.

The closer we get to the original Pony Express look, the better the uniforms look.

True, those big ugly stripes the last few years were nothing like the Pony Express unis.

Beautiful helmet but if they pare it with red uniform jerseys it could be bad.

SMU's face masks and mustangs are chrome so SMU's are better looking than TCU's.
