Nope. TCU used 8 D linemen the whole game and it was the same guys rotating to the end. All of Seeker's runs were inside the tackles right to the end.

Agreed Pope should go back to defense. Him moving to O was another June ploy to try to get him some recognition for the next level which has not worked. Pope back inside and move Yenga back outside.

Our players are not developing explosiveness it doesn't look like. the right S&C program can do wonders, the wrong one is lethal these days and can lead to alot of injuries.

Been telling everyone this for months. Mel and our S&C program are laughable. On the bright side, this is another area where we should make immediate improvement upon arrival of a real staff.

Footballdad. I know you have all the connections, and I know it has been many many years since I was on the field but I can assure you that 56-0 in the 4th quarter is a different intensity than early in the game regardless of who is playing.

Won't disagree. Hopefully Mason saw what everyone else did and gives the kid a chance. We know he'll watch the defensive film as well and hopefully see all of the missed LB tackles and move Pope back to the D.

A lot can be accomplished the next 2 weeks leading up to our first conference game. Still wondering about Davis as a QB? Can he complete enough passes to be competent or not? The advantage his athleticism can bring to this moribund offense is unquestionable.

Our first conference game is in 6 days (at East Carolina) not 2 weeks.

Seeker has played before and kind of became a cult favorite. Especially since he would get in at the end of games we were winning by a decent margin. Lots of LUUUUKKKKKEEEE being heard in the stadium after runs. I have no problem with his capabilities. Just hard to compare with the different situations.

I would not mind seeing Pope at LB but the problem I have with our LBs is pass coverage. They are not getting enough depth for the crossing patterns. I think it has been said that is Pope's weakest area (not sure).

Oops, 2 weeks or 2 days, get to work Mason! Oops, did I just give away the fact I won't be making the trip to Carolina? :)

Start adding some pistol plays and chopping some R&S
