ED is one of the true heroes of smu! The fact that any of you all can say anything bad about him is sick! He is what smu should be! Why fault him for telling the truth! We made a terrible hire and our program suck!!

ED and all the alumni are important to our program. I want to see them support their school. You would think that ED would realize that coaches jobs are based on winning. I believe after the UNT game JJ was embarrassed and no longer wanted to be associated with SMU football. He might have had other incentives, but I think he knew what was coming the rest of the season. You would think ED would understand that JJ was not fired but resigned. You would think ED would understand that the program was at another low point and change was going to come. Nonetheless, Ed you are wanted and needed by your school and your ole team. It is time to come back home.

June had already been told he was on thin ice. He knew what was coming. The resignation was to avoid the canning. Happens all the time

June was ED's buddy. He may take awhile to get over it. The rest of us, not so much.
