Honest and potentially ignorant question- how interested is the casual Latino sports fan in college football? I know the Cowboys have a huge Latino following, but how does that translate to college football? Does USC have a major Latino following, having a history of success in an area with a major Latino population?
Although I am pretty sure CFB is not very popular with recent immigrants, the Mexican-American population in Dallas contains a huge number of people who are 3rd, 4th, ... generation Texans. In my family, all of the men of my generation are rabid CFB fans.
Do unto others before they do unto you!!

As well as the keystone and coors light drinking redneck/white trash community. Tapping that market has done wonders for the tech and tcu fan bases

And TCU has managed to attract their latino students into their football program. They cater to a very diverse demographic, so it is possible in the private, small school realm.

I've always thought we should leverage our rich image into grabbing the people of all races who are fans of the flashy rapper types. Imagine, if you will, giant oversized flava flav pony logo necklaces of gold or platinum, cannons that "make it rain" dollars wgen we score a touchdown. Give special valet parking in front of the stadium for all $100k+ luxury cars for all to see like a restaurant. Invite celebrities and rappers to come show off their wealth. The Cash Money Mustangs would dovetail nicely with some Pony Excess lore and boost our attractiveness with recruits ala Miami or UNLV in their day.

We need a track team. Our track team flourish during the pre DP days. And it helped the football team.
