Keep in mind the first article said the cut was to 6-8 teams and then listed nine who made the cut. There are a lot of people acting like they know stuff when they don't know squat. The only thing trustworthy are the people who claim they are out.

Part of the problem is that the "Big XII" cannot "make a decision." The Big XII commissioner cannot make a decision. Ultimately, the 10 Presidents are going to have to vote and they have different agendas/wants in expansion candidates.

Until the Presidents get into a room, the list needs to be kept large enough to give them "options" should they decide to follow a path not anticipated by the press and/or the Big 12 staff.

Which Presidents are going to push for SMU? Baylor? TCU? OU? UT? Probably not. Maybe TT for Dallas Recruiting, Maybe OSU (since T Boone owns it and we took the geldings off his hands). ISU would probably like Cincy. WVU would want Cincy. KU, KSU who knows where they are, I would have suspected that they would have wanted Memphis. TV suits would want BYU and AF and they would want each other in there for travel partners. So, it will be what it will be. I'm not holding my breath.
