I don't get the calls all year before halftime...use the time wisely and you dont get the time outs back either....we may have gotten a FG or at least throw a long one with no time left....could get a TD or a defensive penalty

One announcer said that we expected it to be a close game and it IS a pretty close one. And the other announcer said, "Yeah, it's about as close as you can get." There's nothing wrong with saying that. Stop trying to take shots at them every chance you get, I think they're doing an alright job.

Absolutely, we could have gotten a field goal attempt out of that last position.

Fair enough. I have a sh@tty connection sitting in Europe late at night, so maybe that is contributing as well.

We have a freshman QB and we are doing OK. I wish the O would pick up th pace but I can't blame a freshman for poor clock management.

Don't we have a coach?

I expect Padron to have a better second half. He seems to play better as the game goes along. I guess it has a lot to do with the fact that he just hasnt been in too many games.

We got this one. Go Ponies!

The game must have changed since my day. I didn't know the coaches now play the game as well.

But he isnt the blame for the no calls...the coaches call them and we had two to use. He is handling his QB chores well and he could be put in a position so that he minmizes the INT possibility..we will only get so many touches in this game because they will control the clock in the second half even more than they did in the first.

I thought coaches could call time outs.

Tulane gets hammered 49-0. Surely this game next week is a W. But Rice should have beaten us.
