I was asked not to say the name and out of respect to my source, which if you look at my posts, has been pretty consistent. I have dropped some hints, and some have picked up on them, given their knowledge of SMU football. I can't say, but I will say, you will be very happy, and if you are not, you never will be.

I think we are having more fun with the guessing and will probably be disappointed when this game does end...
My guess is now Mike Shula. Fits the "Doherty type" hire. Played in a legendary program...eventually earned the right to caoch that program and then fell from grace. Stayed in coaching. Wants to climb back up. Orsini may have wanted him last year but timing wasn't right. It fits.
Unless of course this 3 way trade of Nutt for K for Petrino is true, or that Orsini locked in Bowden...or perhaps Lloyd Carr is announcing on Monday that he's coming to the Hilltop.
Hey, is our soccer team going to get a post season bid???

Thanks for that. Reminds me, I should stop watching football and posting... but this OU Tech game is too crazy.

This time last year we were all thinking about Todd Dodge, and two or three people on the board were telling us he's not leaving SLC until Riley graduates.
A couple of people said we should get Graham from Rice.
Hot or cold?

So it's not Chow, not Dodge, not Graham, not Coker (mentioned around this time last year), and not Neuheisel.
John L Smith??
Okay, how's this...does the guy have RECENT D1 HC experience? Follow up: is he a sitting D1 HC?

This is getting stale. Maybe I'll become a member of the Church of Biggin or Cult of TheRealTruth.

Gotta be Bob Stoops since he will need to get out of Oklahoma fast after getting trounced by Tech. Current score 34-13 with 9 minutes left!

A very reliable source told me who will be the next coach. But he told me I couldn't tell anyone. So I am posting this to let you know that I know who the coach is but can't tell you. Because I told the person I would not post anything. So this post is technically void. So ignore this post because I can't say anything even though I know something. I am very excited even though I can't say anything. Does this make sense?
