YES. winning at Navy and a DivII school with national titles does warrant more money than a 2 year HC with 5 wins. nothing racial there. just the facts. and i seem to hear you talk about facts a lot
Winning at Navy looks better on a resume than coaching in the NFL? I guess it just has to do with who is doing the hiring. Coaching at UN does not warrant more attention than winning at DII? Well if it doesn't, let's just hire a DII proven coach or the guy from Air Force.

GILL WAS NOT THE HEAD COACH FOR THE PACKERS. get that through your damn head. he has had one job and done OK with that one job. Paul Johnson has done great things with two jobs and has proven he can win. when Turner Gill wins some more, he will get recognition and maybe a nice offer. but now he does not deserve big money or an offer from a big money program.

UN? i hope you are not trying to refer to the USNA (UNITED STATES NAVAL ACADEMY). You sit here talking about having knowledge about college football and you refer to a military academy such as Navy as the University of Navy, thankful for you you did not say that in Annapolis because im pretty sure it would not turn out well for you.

we are not a big money or big time program. And we would be lucky to get Turner Gill but apparently we can't attract him. So get that through YOUR damn head.

its really about demand. If people are knocking down gills door he might get over a million in a bidding war. But I've never heard of any coach black or white going from $200k to over a million when nobody's lined up trying to hire him. Let's "be real" big dad nobodys lined up trying to hire gill.
But in fairness to big dad he's right about gill, great recruiter and would be a great fit at SMU. That's probably why he was contacted by us the first week after Bennett was fired. It's really not a black white thing big dad.

Please stop referring to Georgia Southern as Div. II...they are a former Div. 1-AA team which is now Div. 1 FCS (Football Championship Subdivision). Div. II is entirely different from Div. 1-AA. Of course, Div. 1 FCS, Div. II and Div. III all have a playoff system...which is the way it should be!
