Not ever having played an instrument, I've always wondered why most band guys leave the helmet strap hanging just below their noses. Is it not detachable? Maybe someone can enlighten me.

I may check back on this game. For now, it's on to Real house wives of Orange County on Bravo. Quin, in her 40s, dating a 28-year-old. The Insurance woman took the family to Mexico. Another just had breast reduction surgery. And still another went on a camping trip to Yellowstone.

You'd think with all the connection UH has with tribal culture that their band would have something other than generic marching band uniforms.

Hey, Stallion...

Anyone ever tell you that you're a "*ick with ears"?

I am confident that there are many members of that club.

FIREJUNE: Don't you dare blame this on our poor mis-Coached players. We've got a Heisman Candidate, a couple of All Americans, 3 of the top WRs in the Nation with 779 combined catches and over 11,000 receiving yardage and about 10 All-WAC players. Rivals is for LOSERS and that Stallion IDIOT. Don't you guys ever watch the NFL? What we need is a Coach who can "motivate the boys" and teach proper technique and tackling leverage.

FIREJUNE: Graphics show 8 sacks, 8 Penalties, 14 missed tackles no third down conversions, 3 Turnovers. You call this Coaching? This is just how my Twin brother FirePhil correctly analyzed each and every one of SMU's 11 losses this year. GET A NEW COACH IN HERE NOW!

This game looks very comparable to a typical SMU vs Tech game. Clearly there is a huge difference between the BCS schools and "the best" of the non-BCS programs (outside of Boise St last year).

Two uniform observations.

Like the black Georgia jerseys.

Doesn't Hawaii also have green helmets? If so, I don't think I've heard of a college program with more than one helmet. Random.

I am glad you are reminding me what low standards you have for our coaches. I do not care how any of these bowl games go, but you can be damn sure I expect anyone who coaches my team to give us the best opportunity to win, regardless of what players we have.

As for the coach sitch, why dont you call SO or GT? I have asked you REPEATEDLY to name your top choice though. No response yet. Why dont you stop sitting at the computer and being your pessimistic self, go outside, and cheer the [Deleted] up?
