I apologise, I didn't mean that his position is under threat by another qb but logically thinking, if Jwill is suspended from spring practices which I would assume he is with his three + strikes and no special favours, then his position will be threatened. Different reasoning there...

And I will take that even a step further and say that if it turns out that he really has been kicked off the team, he probably will not start at Rice in the opener.

Last week, this is what I was told and exactly how it was told to me: "Every player gets three strikes. It is February and Justin is on his second and two-thirds strike."
JWill is on his 5th or 6th strike and is suspended from the football team. His locker his cleaned out, he's not working out with team or attending meetings, and he's not participating in spring ball. And in JJ's offense no practice in spring ball no play in fall ball.
All this 3 strikes chatter makes me curious, what exactly constitutes a "strike"? Do either (blog or supes) of you know? Or anyone else out there? Is it missing meetings, missing class, getting in fights at parties, parking tickets, or just bad attitude? Is being late for a meeting as big a strike as missing it completely? Anyone know a little more detail about what transpired?
Try not to choke on the Kool-Aid.

I heard he actually threw an interception in practice and fumbled two more times. Those were his 3 strikes.
If it don't make money it don't make sense

He quit, while the door is open, it is highly unlikely we will see him in an SMU uniform again...

I think anything that merits a one game suspension is a strike. Including, but not limited to, punching and verbally assaulting people. Not sure about anything else though.

number of posts don't equate to knowledge. As you now know I guess this newbie knew.

I stand corrected. I hope I did not offend superman1, I just found it all a little vague at the time.

Number of posts do equiate to trust, or more accurately, lack of posts equate to lack to trust. Now we know you aren't some liar or froggy troll. Now you have more credibility.
