Now staying at the Pullman..thanks to the mysterious Mestengo, who waved his hands and made a nonsmoking room appear.

Mustang Magic folks...I asked the woman "well last night there were none left..." woman responded "I know...don't know where this came from.."

Ok so much for driving 2100 miles I’m flying into Huntington on a Turbo prop. I hope the Movie is alive. Anyone else having last minute thoughts it was $360.00 one stop in Charlotte off the jet and into the turbo prop. Pullman Plaza will pick you up.

Done with this thread lol

I talked to the Pullman today and it advised that the stadium is 10 blocks from the hotel and walkable. I was also told that if we have a small group, we could arrange with the bellman to shuttle us to the stadium. Of course, we would have to walk back but could do a bar tour on the way.

What is the final count for the Marshall game? I will be there with 4 others. Got my tickets Friday. Section 103, Row 15. Somewhere between the Goalline and the 10 yard line.

Just a reminder. If you would like to tailgate Saturday with Mustang Fans there will be a friendly group of us awaiting your arrival at Marshall Hall Of Fame Café. Located 1 block from the team hotel. Festivities begin when the joint opens at 11:00 am

I will be arriving early Friday afternoon and will stop by and give it the once over. If any changes are made will post it here on this link.

The first $400.00 of the bar tab is being picked up by a couple of friends of the program.

Here is some info to help.

Early weather forecast

Anyone from the Tampa/St Pete, Orlando and Ft Lauderdale areas as well as Myrtle Beach SC can get flights on Allegiant Air directly to Huntington TriState Airport for less than $75 each way. Only catch is you fly in on thursday and out on sunday.

Allegiant Air

There are two downtown hotels, the Holiday Inn and the Pullman Plaza. I suggest and always stay at the Holiday Inn Suites. It is a newer property that has undergone a lot of upgrades the last couple of years. Pullman Plaza was a Radisson for years and then sold to a local investor a couple of years ago. Older property but has underwent upgrading as well. Still a very nice property. I think a suite at HI for less than $100 a night is the better deal, but that's just me. HI is booked but you can keep calling during the week to try and catch any cancellations.

The Hall of Fame Cafe is the largest sports bar in Huntington. it is directly across the street from Holiday Inn. There is a museum in the front area of We Are Marshall Movie memorabilia with props used in the movie, etc. There is also a walk of fame with Randy Moss, Pennington and Leftwich memorabilia. Ask to be seated in the bar. Friday Happy Hour is from 4 to 7pm. Half price appetizers and beers. I usually suggest you try the nachos but... I doubt you guys want to come up here and eat nachos. They are good though.

Since the stadium is packed in around campus there are few actual parking lots around the stadium that are not reserved. There is parking available near campus but you're looking at walking a few blocks. There is also the parking garage that is attached to the Henderson Center as an option.

My suggestion is to park at the hotel and take either the shuttle or the TTA shuttle from Pullman Square unless you're wanting to set up and tailgate. If you get out early saturday morning and drive around the stadium you can find a good place to park for $5-$10. They fill up quick though.
