I like to think our rivalry is more like Harvard/Yale, its fun for us- without all those GED havin T-shirt fans mucking up the enjoyment. I don't believe either university will ever have the fan support of a UT, I mean, they graduate more in 2 years than we have in living alumni. It is what it is, and i am all for SMU winning, except when they play the Frogs. Some of you may not buy into that, want it to be like a Ohio State- Michigan or something. I say let it be what it is- something that is great for us, but not a huge national stage game. It could be better, which is why I like what SMU is doing this year. So kick the crap out of UT-Mexico, and we'll try to do the same to Utah. And hope we are both undefeated when we meet next year.
Well said and I agree 100%. Hopefully SMU football is about to have the kind of sustained turnaround that TCU has had after it's 1-10 season back in 1997.
