i thought that's what they meant when they called for a blackout. i still don't understand the need to ask for it. every game i've been to has been a blackout.

I hope our unis are BLACK because Santa brought my son a black SMU jersey this morning and he asked why it was black and not red. I told him because Santa must know they are wearing black for the bowl game. Stupid bookstore only carries black jerseys for kids. I am hoping there is a rhyme or reason for that and not just that SMU is just bush-league and poor marketers.

I did the same thing & told the same story to my nephew. He was very confused at first, but now he's pumped about his present.

I'm not crazy about the black uni, but I'll be in hot water with the little guy if they don't wear black

No, I will not boo the team. If they come out with black uniforms on Thursday that booing you hear from me will be directed at the uniform czar, whoever that is. I hope you can tell the difference.

Since the title of the thread says no black unis for the bowl game I saw no reason to comment on the colors. I do however address the color issue with every post in my signature.

It bothers me that SMU picked two other schools names and colors to be ours. Why cant it be SMU Crimson and SMU blue?
