Well I just saw photos of a black and red helmet. So I would assume the team will be wearing black unis even if the fans aren't. Sorry if we already established somewherethat the team is, indeed, wearing black.

Ok, J.J. got black helmets and jerseys to get the team fired up, couldn't he have

done that with a red helmet and a dark blue jersey?, then at least it would still

be our colors and we could wear them more often.

That's not the helmet for tomorrow (I guess it could be), just some replica that is sold on a website. I saw that earlier today when I was searching for SMU black uniform.
