With the exception of Arkansas (former SWC member and neighbor) and LSU (neighbor) no they don't. Here are the current numbers:

Arky and LSU have 32 players combined - they absolutely recruit Texas and it will pick up. Vandy has 7 that helped them win 2 games last year, so not very effective, but we probably wanted one or two of those, expect them too to pick it up. One of those wins came against Ole Miss, who has nine. The remaining 8 schools have 13, including Alabama who has one - McElroy is like a certain Heisman winning RB from East Lansing, Michigan: an expensive exception to the rule.
So effectively, you bring in an addtional, say, 6 or 7 schools that can absolutely steal talent. This has the chance to nickel and dime us to death. At the very least it doesn't help us. And for those of you that complain about the DMN not giving us enough space now, wait until the SEC news follows the Big XII news - even less print and air time.

When the restaraunt owner did the deal with Pauly?
