Re: The Nightmare Scenario Taking ShapeT, I agree with many others here. Don't let jealousy blind you.
Re: Re: The Nightmare Scenario Taking Shape
I can expect great thingds all I want but at the end of the day its not up to me....
Re: The Nightmare Scenario Taking ShapeYou guys will be fine. It's either MWC or Big East for y'all. Maybe the Big East dies & CUSA gobbles up a few leftovers like USF, Cincy, Rutgers, or UConn. Either way, SMU will be in a better situation than they are today and the program is on an upward trajectory. Good luck with the rest of your season.

Re: The Nightmare Scenario Taking ShapeNightmare Scenario? I guess the team I support is locked in a AQ and always will be and I understand schools like SMU wanting a piece of the pie. But I'd have to say that y'all are on the up. SMU football has produced it's share of hall of famers, one of them was a star for my favorite pro team. I've been reading here for a couple years, never posted. I've been pretty intrigued at the SMU comeback. It's an amazing thing to a guy looking from another sideline and personally the conference y'all are in is better than the sorry @zz Big East. The only reason they are an AQ is when they joined they had Miami, Virginia Tech, Syracuse (before they sucked) West Virginia (always pretty tough but never elite) and Pitt who IMO has been mediocre since the 80's.
SMU IS a big name program or at least it has been and can be again, Boise is now. That MWC, CUSA merger might be what I'd want if I was y'all. The BCS is straight garbage in my mind and if it wasn't for the Billions of dollars I don't think anybody would like it. Basically, your boys need to just keep winning and y'all need to over fill your stadium and the rest will take care of itself. ![]() Welcome back Ponies. This Maize'n' Blue fan hopes to see y'all in a big game some time or maybe come on up to Ann Arbor. Once again... Welcome Back! Go Slippery Rock!!!
Re: The Nightmare Scenario Taking Shape
This is what I think too. If we pull a TCU and continue to improve our program we'll be fine in subsequent realignment scenarios.
The Nightmare Scenario Taking ShapeCould have used your sanity yesterday FB
Re: The Nightmare Scenario Taking ShapeThis board is quickly turning into Aggies.com where every thread is about how much they hate UT. When do we get to talk about the upcoming game against UCF?
Derail the Frogs!
Re: The Nightmare Scenario Taking ShapeThat is the atitude that keeps us down while TCU is making the move up! Rather than praying and hoping why not go out and EARN an invite both on and off the field. It won't happen in a week or a month or a year. Support your teams at SMU with attendance and $$$$. Show how you are different from North Texas and Texas State by other reasons than "we used to be in the SWC and we beat TCU "argument. SMU must differentiate themselves from the pack!
Re: The Nightmare Scenario Taking ShapeThe doom and gloom whack pack took over the board yesterday
