Big Question: With Mumme gone, will we see the slow walk of death by our QB after every play?

I am anti-walk of shame too, but how does it slow the game to 4+ hours when it takes place while the play clock is running?

Does not change the time anymore than standing there watching signals being flashed. I have no trouble with it if you are not running a hurry up. I would be in favor of the hurry up, but only if we are good enough to make first downs. Hurry up 3 and outs are killers.

Think he had a decent junior year in high school.........was 30-53 for 344 yards in 3 games in JC.

I thought we were moving to a no-huddle spread offense with touches from the RnS...what happened to that Oregon coach we hired that will live in Germany?

he played only 2 plays as a Junior in high school before getting hurt. He was more impressive as a runner 1400 yards and almost a 1,000 rushing in Soph and Senior years in high school. Never threw for more than 1500 yards in high school. He's considered a Dual threat QB.

1) walk of shame is not even used in 6 man YMCA football. It is beyond embarrassing.
2) Davis is not going to play anything by QB for us.
3) June knows he needs wins this year to keep his job. That is going to create more change then we have seen I would guess.

Yeah. I really believe Jones is going to change what he has done for 40 years to save his job at SMU that he probably realizes is over and he wants to go back to Hawaii anyway. You guys keep on believing that.

And as far as the "walk of shame" would you really rather have little redshirt guys on the sideline holding up pictures of Beiber and Obama like other schools do? You have to get the play in somehow. What is the harm in doing it. We have a 2 minute offense with signals if needed, but again, we need the clock to move more between plays until we learn how to score.

This.
But you have to admit the Oregon playcalling is pretty cool

That only lengthens the game if the Walk of Shame leads to more incompletions.

Because if you run the walk of shame you can't run a hurry up when you find yourselves in a position to use it. That's why NOBODY else in college football does it.

And yes, he might be thinking about doing something differently to pick up an extra 2.5M per year for another three years. Of course, he might be just stubborn enough to drive this plane right into the cliff.

June knows he is gone. At this point he is only trying to salvage his "program savior" , " offensive genius" reputation.

Not a good optic to take a 1-11 team and 7 years later have a ....... 1-11 team.

Sorry but JJ works for JJ. He only is trying to salvage his future. Let's face it .... Hawaii is an expensive place to retire in style and even though he makes 2 mil, that is 1 mil after tax, which means he has banked only around 500k. 500K times 7 is 3.5 million. Can't retire in style in Hawaii with that nest egg. No I bet JJ wants to stay employed for at least another 10 years. I know his agent does.
