To each his one I guess. One thing is thinking we will lose by 30, 40 or whatever, which is logical based on the current state of the two teams, but another thing is to actually bet and try to make money off of the team you are associated with. I get that money is money, and as much as we want to be realistic, I personally know I would NOT feel good about winning this bet. In fact, the only way I would rationalize it is if I donated the net proceeds to the pool of funds to hire a new football coach...

The money that I would make on this wouldn't buy a new coach dinner at Bob's Steak...

Ha! It was in jest, but why not if you're going to bet, but I was referring to in concept more as in pooling all the funds. Take $200 in winnings and multiply that by 500, 1000k or 2,500-3,000 k folks (and now we're we're talking - could help to meaningfully cover a large part of top assistant HC)...

Logical and realistic!!!!!!!!! For SMU football? Your alma mater. Reality is not all it's cracked up to be IMO. Go with a hope and a prayer.
