Despite the clear lack of talent on the O line I think if those guys work hard over the summer that they can be a decent O line once the season starts plus they now have good coaches. Hard work and good coaching can sometimes overcome lack of talent. We had more talent than UConn last year and maybe 1 other team. Since we do not play UConn it might be tough going next year until Coach Morris can get another upgraded class or two. Defensive talent is decent.

You are too negative. Spring is for optimism.

Last year, we would have won three games (Ucoon, USF, and Tulsa) with any kind of offense.

UNT, JMU, Tulsa, Tulane should be very winnable at home. If we can win 2 out of 34 from USF, UH, Temple, and Navy, we can be bowl eligible.

My prediction, the season finale at Memphis will be for 6 wins.

Well anything can happen I suppose. I just think the O line (outside of Briggs) is not very athletic or very quick of foot. I think the freshmen coming in (Bates and Wilds) are athletic and might see some playing time on the O line even though they are freshmen. If Hyder comes back from surgery at 100% I think he could start. If we win a lot of games it will defintely be due to superior coaching and preparation more than anything. Freshmen wr's will help. We'll see.

Hope springs eternal. Unfortunately so does mental illness.

if you can't get excited in the spring, then you just need to quit following a team. you have to have some bright spots.
