i thought we had an offense minded coach? why the heck would you punt on 4th and 3 with less than 5 minutes left? mind boggling. i guess jj has more confidence in the D than blm.

Fitting way to end the game

Coach needs to grow some coconuts on 4th down. You can't depend on the defense.

a draw play with 30 seconds left? why not just take a knee if you want to end the game. that is so weak

I think you are the only one that realizes his true ability to take sucking to the next level.

BLM has improved drastically since the tech/tcu disasters. I doubt we'll win many games this year but at least we are showing imrprovement. i don't like a lot of the playcalling. and i hate martin in there - that guy is a complete [deleted].

Draw Play?
Our offensive genius can't throw for the end zone?
Down by 2 TD's just fling the ball.
JW probably would have caught it anyway?
If USC chokes tonight I may be in a coma for weeks!

maybe he finds it more palatable to have the defense fail than expose the offense to a must execute play like that.

The only thing I am counting on is that sucking the life out of my Saturdays this year pays off down the road.

Actually, I think BLM was done a terrible injustice. Freshman QBs suffer. We have seen it at SMU and at other schools. To place a Freshman in a position as critical as QB is really a disservice to the kid. The game is more complex, faster and more intimidating.
If BLM survives this mental disaster know as his freshman year, he could well turn into a great QB. JJ would have been better to bring him along slowly. Of course I am not paid to coach so JJ knows best.
