Horns lose. Ponies lose. Time to start focusing on the Cowboys.

This wa sa pathetic showing by the offense. Looking back our scores where the result of the defense giving us short yardage situations. Our offensive line (and coaching) lost us this one. We should not have lost to Rice!

Willis showed his freshman credentials. The game is on the line and he runs it himself three times. He has got to learn to give his receivers a chance. Finally when he threw it on fourth down he throws it for the endzone instead of a shorter pass for the first down. He had a great year for a freshman and I can only hope that he learned something from the game today. I guess we will find out now whether Bennett was right and we are still going to get a bowl invite. Given our 6-6 record, its my feeling that we still don't deserve it!

Hey Pony Snob or I should say TCU fan? It was a helluva lot closer than you thought in the first quarter. Must be nice spending all of your time on opposing team's websites.

Rice can thank CUSA for their bowl bid. 7-5 as a member of the WAC would have meant very little. This is devastating for SMU and Phil Bennett. This schedule was put together to generate 7-8 wins and we couldn't get it done. This 6-6 SMU team does not deserve a bowl bid. Those who said Bennett lost his job when these guys lost to UNT may be right when all is said and done.

Good effort today, guys. They left it all on the filed. Congrats to Rice. They got it done in their 1st year under a new coaching staff. Very impressive.

Bad football weekend all around in this house. If ND beats SC, I may have to jump off a bridge.

we had the chances to go ahead by even more points and we could not execute, kudos to the tired defense that was on the field the majority of the game. the offense was just ineffective in key situations

Not sure you can really put this on WIllis. The protection broke down the entire drive, and Willis had no time to find his receivers. Well guess there's only one thing left to say: "Go NC State!!" Kinda feels like we'd be backing into a bowl bid though
Here's to those that wish us well and all the rest can go to hell!!!
