Well that speaks volumes, young man.

Re: Tom Landry. Since this discussion involves college athletics, I was referencing the fact that he played his college ball in Austin. Dallas was after Austin...and New York, for that matter. Cat79, you had a good post when you mentioned o-linemen transferring etc. Then again, I had to read and re-read to confirm that someone actually used, "...you guys started it..." At any rate, what energy this thread is requiring!
Please bring back GoMeanGreen or was it MeanGreenGem? At least UNT smack is entertaining and intelligent. God I am going to regret that statement in the morning. Better get my UNT wife to cuddle with me to make it all even out.
RGV Pony,
Justin Boren played o-line for SMU last year. He could be starting for us this year. Blake Miller coached at SMU. Here is his bio: Blake Miller rejoined the Texas State staff last year as co-offensive coordinator after spending the 2003 season at SMU. He originally joined the Texas State staff in 2000 after three successful seasons at Southland Conference rival Northwestern State. I am here to talk football. We lost to two I-A teams last year. Baylor 24 Texas State 17 It was a great game. We had between 4,000-5,000 fans at the game. North Texas played Baylor the week after T State in Waco. We lost to Florida Atlantic 20 Texas State 13. I believe Florida Atlantic won games against Hawaii and North Texas We play Texas A & M September 24th. You guys play them the week before if I am not mistaken. The 2006 schedule for Texas State includes a game with Kentucky and you guys. We should bring a good following to the game in 2006. What type of offense do you run? Defense? We don't see SMU games in the Houston area. Do you have regional coverage? How about Conference USA package games on TV with national exposure? Tx. St. runs the spread formation with an option attack. Defensively, we employ the 4-2-5. We have a Fox game on TV against SFA this year. BTW, SMU basketball is playing T State in San Marcos this season.

![]() I am still in amazement that tx state expects to be considered a real school. Unless you are getting your teaching certificate, go to a real University.
Half of you jokers only got into SMU because of mommy and daddy's checkbooks. Especially you Sweetie. If you seriously think that Texas State is only good for teaching certificates you are sadly mistaken. Most of you jokers are the most delusional, uneducated a$$holes that I have ever seen. You all can ki$$ my [deleted], and we will see you next year.
Texas State- The Finest Place in Texas
The funniest part about this guy's whole schtick is that he actually takes himself seriously AND he thinks anyone gives a crap about what he has to say. Total hilarity. ![]() Official Cult of Chris Phillips Member
