Agreed. I didn't understand why we didn't.
I think pretty much all of tech is classless. I expected Leach would probably try and score another touchdown; it's his m.o. At least he kept it on the ground almost that entire drive...better than previous years. I viewed the fact that we stopped him as a small win. His comments were a little classless at the end though. Deserved the shutout? If you did, we wouldn't have scored.
It's nothing that we don't already expect from Leach and tech...no need to complain too much about it.

P.S. SMU and A&M fans are pretty much the only opposing fans who hate Leach. I wonder why?

Not really. tcu fans hate him too...or so several of them told me this past weekend. I'm sure there are more. Admittedly, we probably complain about it a little bit more.

I heard Leach likes to take dumps in the airplane bathroom just to make the other passengers smell it.
Jerk.

Actually, I think we're still in C-USA.

Maybe because most of the other teams you play can't recognize class either?

Because Tech gets their butts dinged by the Whorns and the Sooners annually. I'm sure Coach Mac thinks Leach is his best friend.

Uh, we've beaten OU 2 out of the last 3, but thanks for playing.
Sorry you think playing to the final whistle, with backups, and running the ball is classless. Perhaps you can find a pee wee football league to enter.
FWIW, Leach had very nice things to say about June Jones following the game. Was actually much more complimentary of him than he was of our team.

Ponydawg - I appreciate your humor. Keep it Up.
Veronica Corningstone: My God, what is that smell? Oh.
Brian Fantana: That's the smell of Mike Leach my lady.
Veronica Corningstone: God no, it smells like, like a used diaper... filled with... Indian food. Oh, excuse me.
Brian Fantana: You know, Mike Leach smells like that to some people
Garth Holliday: What is that? Smells like a turd covered in burnt hair.
News Station Employee: Smells like Bigfoot's d**k.

My God, folks, let it go.
Tech did the right thing by playing it to the final whistle and going for the score. We did the right thing by stopping them. Basically, it was scrimmage time and it was basically third team vs. third team. Had they scored, it would have been our fault. Just like it was the previous 43 points.
Coaches have different philosophies. Personally, I think Jones was trying to score a TD against Texas St. last week but his WR just didn't make it. Yeah, we took a knee, but I wanted another touchdown. PLAY THE DAMN THING OUT.
If I want to see someone kneel down, I'll go to church.
Just like it was the previous 43 points.

I agree with Leach. He should score until someone stops him or the game is over. In his world, he has to be as convincing as possible in all his wins to overcome any losses he most likely will have to one of the big boys....

Also in his world, teams don't deserve to score on his team...unless he wants them to.

I just can't believe he didn't mention the importance of scoring on a first date.
