I'm glad the doctor and Patterson have this thing worked out, but this "frogilicious" poster is wrong. Period. Next.

This is not the first time. TCU had running back from Taft high school down here few years ago that was injuried and Patterson basically told him he had to get back on field right away or would lose his scholarship. Local law firm here looked into representing the kid if his scholarship was pulled.

Patterson is not the only one to do this, but to now try to say what video evidence clearly shows he did to the doctor on sidelines did not really happen is laughable. Would love to put that one in front of a jury.

That's not good.

Absolutely agree. His comment regarding soccermom was disgraceful. To come on our board and attack one of our posters in such a way is out of line and disgraceful. And then he tries to sell us a load of [deleted] - Typical.

Disgraceful? Really? By the way, my load of [deleted] looks pretty accurate today. One more time! Doc did his job diagnosing EW. He did not do his job relaying his diagnosis to the coaches. His words not ours.

You are absolutely right, given 48 hours and the truth can be altered by agreement by anyone, let's see "you can keep your job if you appologize and tell them that you didn't notify everyone on the Frog bench what was happening--the boy comes second, the information to Jelly Belly comes first".

Do you really think that the doctor's first mission was to notify Patterson before Patterson came down on him? or look after the boy? Why can't Patterson's staff communicate upward to him, maybe they are afraid to give him bad news? Bang, Patterson 'shoots' the messenger, again.

Every coach needs to think what it would be like to be defendant in a wrongful death suit involving one of their players. Perhaps Gary Patterson should talk to George O'Leary and see what its like to have to be deposed over issues such as that. Also, a death on the field of a player, is the type of thing that can haunt a coach for the rest of his career. There are ample examples of fast acting doctors who saved the life of a player with a head injury. In fact a former assistant TCU coach who played for Colorado was saved by a fast thinking sideline physician.

Also his job being the TCU doc in the future on the line, not ours.

I guess that is why Patterson said this one whole day after the game.

On the day after the game, Patterson said: "As far as I'm concerned [Wesley] was fine 10 minutes after he was hurt."

By calling her a soccer mom? Her post WAS clueless. Funny how you guys take a med jornal piece as fact given that the rag never attempted to contact the school or coach.

The doc never told anyone that EW was out. GP got excited when he saw a 3rd string guy (James who will be awesome) trot on the field for a play. That is when it erupted. Doc was wrong here but was butthurt that GP dressed him down. The doc has grandstanded before.

The doc has grandstanded before.

And GP (unfortunately, like other coaches) have tried to get players to play before they are cleared.
