TCU accepts Big 12 Invite

I think SEC would need to go to 16 for SMU to have a shot, unless I missed Mizzo staying in the Big12.

Geez...how ironic that Patterson had his rant and we beat him and now Big 12.....just keep winning and the resulting relevancy will open doors for us. The DFW market for TV AND recruiting in Texas are assets you can't ignore.

the train is leaving the station. its gonna be harder and harder for us to catchup peddling on our bicycle. June is gonna retire in about 3 years, then who knows what we get to replace him. The issue now is if we miss this very significant round of realignment, can we put two lightning bolts together later? I don't believe a CUSA/MWC merger is going to get any real access to the BCS.

Everybody just CHILL!

TCU was always the most logical fill for aTm and none of this astonishment would be occurring if BEVO hadn't been the bee in the bonnet of the whole conference realignment scenarios.

BEVO hoped BYU would take the bait and join the BIG BEVO TRAIN WRECK but BYU must have seen this for just another UT ploy to gain time for their ultimate exit.

The rest of the BIG BEVO apparently made UT fold and allow the obvious choice from the beginning - TCU.

SO STOP THE HAND WRINGING!

JUST KEEP WINNING!

BTW The Thadsta, Pony Daughter, and I are going to local (LOW CAL) Saturday night to congratulate TCU on their newly acquired position in front of BEVO on their knees! :mrgreen:

Based on the number of applications for admission received by the two schools, apparently a lot more would choose TCU over SMU. What else do these figures mean? And Baylor comes in third in the contest.
