Uhhh...Michigan in 2018? That doesn't really vibe with what Rick said about OOC scheduling

It would be cool if Michigan would agree to play us here maybe at Cowboys Stadium.
Back off Warchild seriously.

a body bag, one and done game with Michigan??

I guess we needed the money. But geez I thought we were better than that!

I did see that Michigan is also looking at scheduling UCF to replace their OOC game with Rutgers (since RU is moving to the B10). Not sure if that is a 2 for 1 or what.

Interesting that Michigan game is for 2018...the year the current TCU contract expires. I wonder if Rick isn't confident they will renew it after 2017 and put UM on there instead.

I don't see any reason why TCU wouldn't renew it- most of their fans want the game played and it generates more interest/ticket sales than some random OOC opponent for them

If we did a home-and-"home" with Michigan up there and at Jerryworld or the Cotton Bowl, that would be cool.

What if the opening weekend of the State Fair featured Michigan-SMU at the Cotton Bowl? Tell me that wouldn't be cool and generate some ticket sales, if marketed properly. UM travels very well, too.

Michigan pretty much bought us like they would buy a MAC team, having 3 OOC road games in one season is remarkably stupid.

The UM game would be pretty surprising to me if true, given Rick's recent statements about how our OOC slate this season wasn't ideal

RGT probably told casper that he didn't want fball or bball to be top 25 before our academics were at that level.

I know a lot can change in five years, but if this game takes place I'll try everything in my power to attend. The Big House is someplace I've always wanted to visit and seeing SMU play there would kill two birds with one stone. If SMU pulled the upset win, I wouldn't need a plane to fly home. :D
