Re: Reality Check
While you have correctly identified the #1 catalyst that brought on the DP...I think the REAL heartbreaker is that we are still using that crutch to justify where our program is today. Successful people and programs look forward...not backward. Thus the concern over recruiting I think is spot on. Recruiting = The Future...how's that looking? __________________________________________________

Re: Reality CheckThe REALITY is that SMU athletics from 1980-1985 was arguably the top athletic program in the nation. A string of Conference Championships in Football, Track and Field, Tennis, Golf, Soccer, … National Champs both team wise and individually in Track and Field, Tennis, Olympic Medals in Track and Field and Swimming, and high national rankings in almost every sport we competed in, including basketball.
WE DOMINATED IN DAMN NEAR EVERY SPORT! The reality is that SMU has greatness throughout it's past, and for one of it's own to question it borders on blasphemy. You, Pug Pony, should at least be required to go stand in the corner. ![]() Beat the hell out of anybody!
