ND 31 LSU 28. Nice win by ND. If both teams so get some of their key guys to come back I think both will be top 10 teams next year.

LSU would be a top ten team if they had a decent qb.

ND has a date with the Whorens to start off the football season next year. I'm not sure who I dislike more: ND or Texas???

Tide, who is a better rb Henry or Fournette? I've always leaned towards Henry, but Fournette showed me something today.

Of course ND will start off Top 10 because of media bias, then lose the standard 4-5 games against the decent teams on their schedule.

12-1 fluke in 2012 you say?............try 42-14 Alabama

Typical db comment from FD. You don't even follow nd. But Haters gonna hate.

Every team has media bias. Every conference does as well. ND had 15 people out on defense this year. Think about that. 11 or 12 through injuries and 3 to academic suspension (bc unlike at other programs they actually make their kids go to and show up to class). They went toe to toe against FSU at their place when they lost their starting mlb and play caller on the defensive side when everything went down hill after that.

They played with a lot of freshman and sophomores. They will have a very good team next year And you can continue hating all you want.

Maroon that sounds like the same ND apology stuff we have heard forever. ND is always the most consistently overrated team in the country. Always.

    I have family and friends who are huge ND fans so I follow more than I'd like to. Always great razzing them 4-5 times a year and listening to the excuses flow (you leprechauns must all complain off the same script because you're excuses sound eerily similar to theirs!)

Speaking of excuses, after watching Arkansas hold UT to a total of 59 yards in offense including a massive 2 yards on the ground, all the talk here today was about the holding call that was missed on the touchdown UT scored. Even with a convincing victory, the officials were blamed.

Just watched replay of LSU/ND game and LSU got screwed out of 7 points on the fake FG just before halftime. Ball clearly broke the plane and he was called short. The ole' luck of the Irish I guess

Nice to know you cared to watch. The laser beams from your eyes or *ss must have been put to good use as you're the only person (beside Desmond Howard and mark mays) that probably have the same laser vision to have seen whether the kicker crossed the line on the fake fg while not having his knees touch.'in real live it looked like he was short and you're not allowed to assume when overturning evidence but that would be too much for you to actually do. You know what they say about assuming stuff...

If you had actually watched the gm you'd know that ND dominated the lines of scrimmage and time of possession. They were just as physical if not more so and if not for lsu's star freshman rb it wouldnt have been that close at all (he might be a legit heisman candidate next year). LSU needed some trick plays and 2 one off plays (100 yd kick off return and 90'yd run)'to keep them in the game but then you'd know that if you actually saw the game.

I don't recall you complaining when they stole ND's winning TD against FSU. Same ol luck of the Irish then I guess.

What do you have next, troll?

Heh-you can't call a regular poster a troll for commenting about Notre Dame v LSU when you are on an SMU message board. Doesn't make any sense unless you are both trolls

Last I checked stallion this is an other games thread so fair game to talk about this game. He's a troll for obvious reasons.

But I've been called worse. I'm pretty sure you have too.

If it was so clear, then why didn't the replay officials overturn the call?

By no means am I ND fan, but I don't look for a conspiracy behind every call.
