Sonny is no longer the coach.

Geezer D is just a stupid, unhappy POS. Block his posts. They are a waste of time. His flesh might be good enough for a pair of boots... maybe.

Hafley is doing a sound job there considering all the liabilities it carries. I didn't expect them to beat either GT or Syracuse. They will want to win in Boston against a ranked team.
While BC had an up and down season and didn't beat any of the top teams in the ACC, they did lose to FSU by only 2 points so they are clearly capable of beating our guys if we play like that disappointed team did in that frigid Sun Bowl years ago against Alabama

I was at that Sun Bowl game. Coldest game I ever attended. The sun shone but the temperature was absolutely killing! Neither I nor the team wanted to be there.
Long live Inez Perez!

I was there as well, ArkPony....SMU was so unprepared / ill prepared that they had to run to Target - WalMart to buy up long johns....#6 in the country at the time to play a 7-4 'Bama squad. We were mixing Jack with Dr Pepper.

It’s really too bad McIlhenny’s career had to end on that note.

Usually we let you troll on PonyFans because it's a free world and we appreciate the traffic. But in this case you're just plain wrong, so I'm going to call you out. SMU's strength of schedule was #107, but that was influenced by playing Prairie View as a last-minute substitution when already-scheduled North Texas became part of the AAC. However, SMU played two P5 teams on the road, and three teams who were essentially in the Top25 on the road (SMU played competitively at OU, lost to a good TCU team (they were good before they lost their staring QB Morris), and won at Tulane). By contrast, Liberty's strength of schedule was dead last in FBS. They didn't play anyone. Both you and the Bowl selection committee are nothing but a sad joke.

Long term forecast (aka guess) says rain on the 28th in Boston and in the 40's. Definitely pack the poncho.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Two days ago is showed mid 30's and sunny, so basically nobody knows. Maybe there will be a nice southern breeze that will come in that day.

Cold is only bad when it gets much lower than that. EastStang, I'm sure you remember frozen footballs bouncing off W&M receivers' hands in Montana last year, like I do. It was a *lot* colder than mid-30s. I'd take sunny and dry and mid-30s in a heartbeat for an outdoor Boston game.

I love the discussion about weather. In Chicago during the winter, we call a sunny day in the 30's summer!
