I agree that despite the defense's anemic showing right now... 7 points does not warrant the gloomy tone.

But 25 years of history is hard to shake.

No this was always going to be a tough game...Tulane will be the big one and that is a win

I think you're probably going to be right, but I really hoped we would play better than we have today. If the D can't step it up and stop them a few times we're done today.

They are the 10th ranked offense in the conference, and they are playing their backup RB, and their leading receiver (a senior TE) is out for the season. What the hell? Our defense can make any offense look good.
