We have only had 1 credible drive. The O has really not performed. Too many passes completed for 1 yard, some bad key penalties and failure of QB and receivers to make right reads. If the O does not start taking some time off the clock and saving the D, it will be a bad second half. The D has enough problems with the pass rush and bad corners without being totally worn out at the same time.

Our D is horrible!

No pass rush at all and our Corners + Safety play like they're still in high school.
We really need to sign some good defensive backs this year.

We need some defensive backs. Crawford gets beat for a TD every week and tonight all of the backs are getting beat. It's a good thing that UTEP receivers have a dropped several balls or the score would be worse. Sadly the drops had nothing to do with our D.

JUCO bandaids are our best shot at fielding a better secondary next season but those aren't that reliable (see Crawford, Thomas, and a host of kids we couldn't even get in or keep in).
