FYI. Practice was cancelled this morning at last minute. Could be weather, but also could be something else.

I don't hate it, but it will never fly. Of course I also happen to like Petrino and Neuheisel. I'd love a guy with passion and energy that loves to recruit.

I heard him speak recently and he certainly seems to be a man of good character. His coaching record does not shine if you consider the combination of Cam Newton and Gus Malzahn in his biggest year.

talked to a Clemson buddy who says the word around Clemson is that Morris doesn't want to move until the kids finish H.S. Not sure of their ages or how long that means he might want to stick around, but he's obviously got a great gig where he is

They can go to a pretty nice high school for free in the Park Cities...

That does not matter to the kids.

quality of school is not the issue...it's a matter of taking them away from friends and making them "start over" at a point in their lives when great memories should be forming. Same reason I commuted to Charleston from Columbia SC during my daughter's senior year in H.S.

Yea, I get it. Just saying, people with kids move all the time. God knows my parents did. I really doubt a guy is going to turn down an extra $700k (if that's what we, or anyone else, is offering) and not take an HC gig (assuming he wants one) because of his kids' school.

With that being said, I think June will be our coach in 2014

Too shelf coaches aren't really around for their family anyway. Leave the wife and kids at home, they can join later.

Well... My barley house bet with FTHP is looking more promising.

If I hadn't retired from direct communication with him, I would hit him up for bets 24/7. You could make a fortune off of his ignorance.

Lol better for me, since I would not be able to handle $150 in drinks from all three of you when I win the bet. I might have y'all join me in celebrating though! :)

Dave Clawson will leave Bowling Green to coach Wake Forest, a source confirmed to ESPN's Joe Schad.

CP - I've heard from Clemson folks that Morris promised his daughter they wouldn't move until she finished her Senior year, but I would be shocked if it plays out that way.

I guess we shall see.
