As did the old lady on Mockingbird having her iced tea. Maybe we can get to the point where the whole football stadium can hear them. I suppose you can fix this by increasing the volume of the mic'ed band.

This website needs a dedicated band section.

Yeah, it is what it is this year. Hopefully they mic them up better going forward.
But next year, I would imagine they are moved. Or at least keep opponents bands out of our stadium, haha. Baylor/TCU/A&M won't let Peruna on their field, so let's keep their bands (and that stupid Collie) out of ours.
And before I get deluged with a bunch of comments, I'm not serious about kicking their bands out.

we should limit the size of their band, or charge them tickets for anything over 100.
also they should be in the very upper section, as high as we can get them. Many other stadiums put them down on the field and limit seating to 50. No reason to be the only stadium that is actually normal about this if nobody else is going to be.
OK - on to more important things......

yes, make them stand in the corner of an end zone like Notre Dame does. AND charge them admission. If I was in charge, I would make the change so fast...it would make your head spin. SMU has had some very nice, very loud and very good bands. It's time to embrace that. Let's make SMU football great again.

College Football needs an Agreement Against Discrimination on the Basis of Visiting Foreign Fans
should be fair and equal treatment of visiting fan alottments-such as mandatory quality seating which can not be separated into multiple sections etc. Treating visiting fans fairly might just help the alleged sagging attendance. Fans that travel are College Football's best fans

Does the band play anything on opponents third down by the way? Noticed everyone plays something (fsu does the war chant for example). Does SMU play anything? Maybe Malonish or DiamondM know?

It's common for schools to charge for band seating. That's probably why Baylor didn't bring their full band.
