Everyone's take on how the season will go

Inspired by a post by ponyboy, I wanted my shot at doing impressions. Here is what I think people's answers will be to the question:

How many games will we win this year?

(Disclaimer: Over the years we've gotten to know each other's styles of postings. Note that the intent of this post is to poke fun at everyone, not just "doom and gloomers" or "sunshiners". Anyone who gets worked up about this needs to lighten up, sit back, and have a laugh. In fact, consider it flattery that I love reading you guys so much. Here goes...)

ponyboy: If everything falls in place we might have an outside chance at a bowl game... next year for sure!

corso: Not so fast my friend! We are still a little ways off

Stallion: Until we make a decision to compete on an even playing field, I don't see us matching up well against anyone this year.

Ponysnob: POLL: Will the Mustangs ever win another game in this decade?

jtstang: Stallion and Ponysnob have a point.

Mustangs35SMU: We better beat TCU!!! Please! Please! Go Lobos!

Smoo Power: I put a new feature on the website that lets you predict the number of SMU wins this year.

DanFreibergerForHeisman: No way we are going to win any games with our ugly helmets.

Lotus: Local LB lists SMU as school of interest.

BUS: Once we get some BIG MEN, then we can win some games!

Johnny Rock: I say if we don't make an immediate administrative change, we should drop down to Div I-AA, win or lose.

Letterman: And the number one reason why we will win 11 games this year... to snub imminent offer to join the MWC!

Spaz: WHERE'S MY KETCHUP!?!!

MustangSally: 3-8. The band will be there.

A few suggestions (all in fun):

PonySnob: The whole university (SMU) is in a death spiral.

Water Pony: I fought for an olympic size pool in Ford Stadium, but the university was short-sighted.

Stallion: The energy in our solar system actually comes from JUCOS.

MeanGreenGem: UNT is going to build an athletic complex that will rival anything ever built for the Olympics and the Dallas Cowboys combined.

I feel honored and humbled that I was the very first name on your list! Great post! And, yes...11-0 is my 'pie in the sky' prediction! Remember...ANYTHING is possible on any given Saturday in Div. 1-A football....just look west towards Ft. Worth and you'll see what I mean!
