All we get down here is "LSU this, LSU that" and an occasional back-page mention of Tulane. Thanks for giving me everything I need about my Ponies! That looks like a ton of work, and it's very thorough. I've never seen SMU covered like this.
great work. And I dont know when it will be, but I think some good things are going to happen for SMU football. It might be an upset win over a rival, or it might be a better than expected season. Who knows, but it will happen. Call it a feeling, but you can tell that Bennett and the team are working too hard for something not to happen. Hell, the webmasters alone deserve a payback from the football gods for all their great work. So do alot of you diehard fans out there.
"I'll tell you one thing: I'm tickled to death that the football season is starting," SMU head coach Phil Bennett said at the beginning of the team's Media Day. "We've had to live with last year too long."
Great quote to start it with because everyone feels that way. I am still predicting 5 wins but the players are looking for a winning season. Gotta love that. Webmaster, great job as always, especially for those of us living a 1,000 miles away. BTW, scheduling Northwestern is terrific for the Chicago Chapter of SMU Alumni. It's a good size group! Turner just visited here this spring. Thanks again. ![]() Pony Up
The Dallas Morning News & The Ft. Worth Star-Telegram along with the local TV and radio stations all take a back seat to www.ponyfans.com! Great work guys! Keep it up!
"Well that's just great. Now, ya'll get to bed before we see how far UNCLE HULKA can stick his big toe up your..."
Good luck this season SMU FOOTBALL!
