Northwestern's athletic page lists SMU playing at NU on 9/9/06, but it does not go past the 2006 season.
Wake's athletic page lists them coming to SMU in 2006 and has SMU going on the road to Wake in 2007. So specific dates though.

I wish we'd play @ Tulane every year. What a road trip. At least we should introduce Mardi Gras beads to the Boulevard.

While I'm excited at the prospect of playing A&M, I haven't seen any real confirmation of this, other than through posts on this board. The Ag site has a fairly comprehensive list of their OOC games thru about 2011, but we're not on it. They do still have open slots in 05, 07, and 08, though. If this has been a "done deal" for a while, I don't know why SMU wouldn't be trumpeting it to the hills. Anybody know how we can confirm this?

Now there's a tradition that should be started on the Boulevard, regardless of whether or not we play Tulane.

Knuckle,
I truly believe this is a done deal. Copeland and and the aTm AD are friends and, as I mentioned in an earlier post, aTm wants a Dallas game and we want a big gate and a chance for an upset. I believe the rationale for not announcing the game has to do with coming off 0-12 and scheduling, but primarily the former. Would you want to announce that you signed a multi year deal to play them when you just came off 0-12. I think it will be awhile before Copeland officially says anything about this series.

I also just heard that the A$M deal is a done deal. Additionally, my sources tell me that we are going to be putting Missouri on the schedule soon.

We definitely play at Tx Tech in 2006. I think Boston College, Northwestern, and Wake Forest are being removed from the schedule, at least for the next four years.

If that is true, it's great news. Let's keep the non-conference schedule "regional" until we are ready to play with the big boys again. I'd love to see TCU every year and then alternate home/home series with Baylor and UNT so that in the years we have TCU at home, we travel to either Waco or Denton, then when we go to Ft Worth, either Baylor or UNT visits Ford. Then fill that last non-conference with a former SWC rival like Tech or A$M. Tech has shown a willingness to play home/home series and even if A$M insists on a 2 for 1, we should still do it.
