We'll make sure to represent C-USA West well in the 2005 title game.

Maybe you can come down to support us in the championship. :D

y'know, it's humorous to see a UH fan talk a big game. Ever wonder how in the world a school with 30000+ students would ever have a problem with attendance?

What's more, I'd much prefer OUR most recent cotton bowl memory to that which must haunt the devil out of Houston (SMU: vs Pitt; UH: vs. Notre Dame)

Thanks for posting, Cougar fan. Hopefully, more rivalries are what CUSA will bring.

btw, my father's a big Cougar backer. I always wondered how all ya'll handled putting your fingers into such a painful configuration to make what I guess is an H or a UH.

Nice to have Houston in the fold - at 0-12 we have not had the opportunity to look down our noses at anyone in quite a while. We can add UNT to the mix and have an all commuter schedule.

yeah and if the game is at UH we won't have to worry about Houston fans spending their money sleeping at Motel 6 and eating at the 7/11!!!!!!!! Just a little SWC humor for an old rival.

Houston / SMU

Gostangs, don't worry. It was just a few years ago that we endured an 0-11 season. But things are looking up over here, so that should give you hope that your program can do the same and turn things around.

I hope to develop a good rivalry in the near future, so hurry up and get better.

Oh, how I would love for you to whip the Frogs every year. THAT WOULD BE SWEET! REPRESENT CUSA BABY!!!

Go Coogs!

You'll forgive us, JDCougar, if we still cringe now and then with a recollection of then-Falcons coach Jerry Glanville saying to the media, after beating then-Houston Oilers & coach Jack Pardee, "that game ball's for those kids at SMU," referencing Pardee's UH team hanging 97 on a squad of freshman.

Actually, it was 95. But that's ok, Andre Ware may have had a feast that day but he got what he deserved later on in that excuse that he called a professional football career. Not to forget that all those kids that were freshman that year who were around for the 92 season got their revenge.
