Umm, hate to break this to you Craig, but CSTV is in less than 10MM homes, and it is doubtful they will sign anything other than digital tier deals.

Star Telegram reports thaqt CSTV is currently in 54 million homes and recently reached an agreement with Comcast and most likely will add to there satellite deal with DirecTV by 2006...At least TCU is in a position to make bold moves like this..
Uhmm, 54 million? Is that counting all the Internet connected computers in the country?
Go Ponies!!
Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad
Re:
The Star Telegram forgot a decimal point; I'm looking at the UE right here. They already have a deal with DirecTV, which limits them to the Premier Package (2MM subs). Their deal with Comcast makes them available to negotiate for carriage on digital tiers (maximum of 8.1MM on Comcast systems, which will never be reached).
The deal does make sense......for viewers in MWC states. Far, far more people who live in Rocky Mountain states have satellite TV- It's impractical to wire that part of the country for cable. Outside of the MWC states, it isn't going to help too much.
Support the Commitment! We're all SMU Mustangs fans- we should all be committed!
Spinning this as "Bold" and visionary is just attempt to mask the bad news - who knows where CUSA will end up - maybe deals are reducing for non BCS across the board - but this is nothing fro TCU to be excited about.
