Anyone else see what the announced attendance was at the HP-Ryan game? At least we know the seats work. Kind of makes the case for recruiting HP kids of all sorts...even non-athletes...one day they can support the 'local U' they way they do the local HS

That was the total attendance for BOTH games. Allen vs Mesquite was played before HP/Ryan. Most of the fans from the first game left when it was over. There is NO WAY there was 31k+ for the HP game. Stadium was about half full and all the end zone seats were empty as those sections were roped off.

Thanks for the update. Blame it on typical DMN spinning numbers again.

But it still makes a good case for recruiting kids from ALL of those Metroplex schools that played at Ford on Saturday! (Allen, Denton Ryan, Highland Park & Mesquite).

BTW, no mention of it in the DMN but Highland Park WR Rex Womble suffered a broken jaw in the game against Denton Ryan. He's out for at least 6-8 weeks.
