Finally, the time has arrived. The 2004 season will be underway. SMU won the toss and has elected to receive. Cool. David Haynes and Jessie Henderson back to receive.

There's the kick. Out of the end zone for a touch-back.


Chris Phillips comes out on the field.. straight to the line (no huddle) and it's a quick 7 yard hitch to Bobby Chase.

2nd and 3 at the SMU 27..

Ok boys.. call the game..

Phillips back to the line. Barks an audible, steps back and fakes a throw to a streaking Devin Lowery. Corner bites. Phillips takes it over left tackle for 14 to the SMU 41. First down.

Now it looks like there's a Mustang down on the field after the play, and this could be trouble for Pony fans. I can't qutie make out who it is...oh hold on a second..

...it's FOY MUNLIN! Looks like he's bleeding badly from the face as he writhes on the ground in obvious pain! Let's take a commercial break...

...While you were away, Ponies throw a quick out to Matt Rushbrook. He was hit immediately and dropped at the SMU 43, a two yard gain. Trotting back out onto the field is... WHAT!?... FOY MUNLIN! OOOOHHH, he looks mad!
