If change is needed ....

Cavan needs to take Kueck with him. The play calling, especially in overtime, was awful. It was so predictable that even I knew what was coming.

...
"Hit it."

Make the switch - these players are too talented and work too hard to put up with this.

The fanciest trumpet in the world sounds only as good as who blows it. Running on first and second down every series blows, especially when the running proves to be ineffective and the source of 2-3 fumbles. 9 defenders in the box expecting the run blows, for the poor saps that have to try and block or run into them... so mix it up, preferably before OT.

I'm a pretty patient person but watching this for the past few years has been devastating, and I feel extremely bad for the players that have given their bodies and spirit for absolutely no return. Anyone that can't see there is true talent on both sides of the ball at SMU is blind, and for those that get paid to SEE the talent and utilize it to win games... it seems to have been proven on the Hilltop any fool can rob the bank in the field of coaching.

I've been at every home game since 1989, and a few road games as well. This offense is as vanilla and predictable as any since football returned. Time for a new head coach, offensive coordinator, running backs coach and offensive line coach. Receivers and tight ends are OK under Ringo and Jones. Keep them.
