DALLAS (SMU) - With just over 24 hours before kickoff, all 32,000 reserved seats have been sold for Saturday’s season opener against Texas Tech. In addition, SMU has sold nearly 500 standing room-only tickets for the south plaza.

The game against the Red Raiders will mark the third sell-out in stadium history and the first since the 2002 season. With the SRO tickets nearly sold out as well, the game will almost certainly break the stadium record of 32,267 set on Sept. 2, 2000, in the stadium’s opener against Kansas.
