Did yall see the note in the paper today about Mouton backing up Darrin Johnson at LT in practice this week? Good move, with the need for OL depth. But then it says he'll be back on defense next week.

Why? Are we getting more OL help between the Tech and TCU games? I like the idea of having a big, quick, strong guy like Mouton helping out on the OL, where we obviously don't have the depth we have on the DL. But I would think he should stay there all season, shouldn't he? Sign a dozen OLs, then move him back to DT, if that's what's best for the team.

The one-week move is curious, to say the least.

It might be Bennett's plan of getting his most talented players on the field - however possible.

Good point. Hadn't looked at it that way.

This is exactly why we need to sign a bunch of big OLs. And hopefully one or two will be ready to play as true freshmen.
