Sports Journalists Prognostication
Posted: Sun Sep 05, 2004 12:52 pmI thought you guys might be interested in a conversation I had last night. After the game, I talked to some writers who were covering the game. I realize that sports journalists aren't coaches or scouts, but in general, they're knowledgeable since they obviously cover football for a living.
The general concensus was that if SMU brought that same intensity the rest of the season, 5 wins are in the bag. When I asked which games they thought we'd win, the tally actually came UP to six, maybe seven. They also thought we'd have shot at TCU.
That'll be one heck of a turnaround IMO.
